I really hate to do stuff like this, but is there maybe anyone who has an Otakon AA table who is willing to split with me? I thought I had found a way to smuggle myself in there, but that fell through, so now it looks like I may have to get really desperate to get in.
I am a super quiet and respectful person and I will do whatever you want, I will draw porn for you, what, anything. I have run Otakon before and I know all the pulls, and I bring snacks and I’m really good at tank heals.

I would loooooooooove to!! I’ve discussed it with my friends once or twice because it would be seriously awesome, but I’ve yet to do any real research or scheduling. What are the major conventions there? * U* Do you recommend any?

Ahh thank you so much for the note! <3 I appreciate the suggestions, I’m definitely going to be playing around and pushing myself harder in the coming days. I’m always looking at artists work and trying to pinpoint what I do like, and then deciding if it’s something I want to incorporate into my work - it’s a great method that has always worked for me and an awesome suggestion.
I am familiar with Kekai’s work, and it is amazing. That you even think of his stuff when looking at my art is an extreme compliment. T uT
I think you’re right. It’s a day to observe and analyze, but then I will be getting back to it!

Like I’m not really pushing myself. Looking back a year, I feel like I can’t see a very visible improvement. Even worse sometimes I look back and see stuff that’s better than what I’m doing now. Eughhh. *rolls around on the floor* I see where I want to be, and then where I am, and the distance feels huge and intimidating.
I’m not fishing for compliments~ I know that almost every artist feels like this sometimes, and it’s certainly not the first (nor the last time) I’ve been struck with this sudden wave of artistic despair. But I needed to get it off my chest a bit, and I know that this is a common feeling among artists. Let us bond together in our insecurities. T~~T *hugs everybody*

Where did you find amazing food in Baltimore? I just hit up the fast food joints.
We hit up this place called Woodberry Kitchen on Sunday after the con, and it was incredible. It’s a little ways from the convention center, but only like a 25$ cab ride. If you split that between like four people it’s very feasible! Another good place that’s a little closer, potentially walking distance, depending on your hotel, was Teavolve, where I got those delicious looking waffles. * u* They have great brunch and breakfast foods, and their coffee and tea is really delicious!
I like how all these photos are dramatic Dutch angles, and then food.
The food in Baltimore is amazing. Seriously, how is everyone there not rolling down the sidewalks?
